2. whats the "must-have" filters and accessories that one should always carry when photographing landscapes.

UWA lenses are Ultra Wide... some starts at 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm must have filters for landscapes photography are ND filters, GND filters, CPL. also consider the tripod and the remote shutter trigger. if on budget get the third party lenses such as sigma, tokina my suggestion get the tokina lens... it is build like a tank, sharp and the price is just right. cheers!

yup, i know these but im just curious if there is big difference between say 12mm against 18mm. no experience yet on these uwa except for the kitlens kasi. another thing is the IQ, i mean, is it really better? what are these for? ND, GND, CPL, ND#? also, where can i buy those square filter holder and how much? (yeah, i can google it but syempre, mas malinaw siguro yung paliwanag dito, hehe) yup, i didnt bother asking this kasi i know itis a must have. the Tokina 11-16 2.8 is a popular 3rd party uwa lens. is this the one you're talking about? meron kasing 12-24 f4 na tokina. im leaning over the 11-16mm since it got a lot of good review. id like to get other member's opinion too, specially yung may uwa so that i wouldnt sell it agad dahil nagkamali ako. TIA

yup, i know these but im just curious if there is big difference between say 12mm against 18mm. no experience yet on these uwa except for the kitlens kasi. another thing is the IQ, i mean, is it really better? yes of course... shot with tokina 12-24 and d300 Camera: NIKON CORPORATION NIKON D300 Exposure: 30 Aperture: f/8.0 Focal Length: 12 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash shot with kitlens and d70s Camera: NIKON CORPORATION NIKON D70s Exposure: 16 Aperture: f/3.5 Focal Length: 18 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash IQ of tokina 12-24 is superb, sharp, I like the colors it produce and build like a tank (metal not plastic) ND is a neutral density filters it limits the light coming to your lens... uses: shutter speed - blurring water motion, add motion or blur on your subject: pwede kang gumamit ng ND para pahabain ang oras ng shutterspeed mo... Aperture - - Reducing depth of field in very bright light (i.e. daylight). - When using a flash on a camera with a focal-plane shutter exposure time is limited to the maximum speed -often 1/250th of a second, at best- at which the entire film or sensor is exposed to light at one instant. Without an ND filter this can result in the need to use f8 or higher. Ang blue is much bluer GND almost same as ND but graduated... means ang kalahati madilim ang kalahati transparent. - also, where can i buy those square filter holder and how much? sa Island photo gamboa meroong cokin (108 Gamboa St., Legaspi Vill.,Makati City) or kay lehboy filtersxchange.multiply.comcheers!
