Ahh, etong lens pala ang kailangan ko eh. Meron bang ganyang lens na may zoom? Thanks sa info sir walang zoom lens na may capability ng f/1.8 but there are f/2.8 instead. anu bang unit model mo? the best choices i can recommend are: Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8

Ahh, D90 po unit po. Ok lang po bang pang portrait ung f/2.8? Gusto ko kasi yung headshot nyo totally blured ang background. Yung Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm ang mahal can't afford ko pa yan.

^ yup, okay sya. Actually, any lens can give you nice portraits (not sure sa fisheye ), depends na lang on your composure, lighting, etc. Pero if you're looking for a nice bokeh (blurred/out-of-focus background), go with a 50mm f1.8/f1.4... you loose the zoom capability like what has been mentioned, pero "zooming in/out with your feet" is a good practice for composing your shots well (pinaghihirapan mo kasi yung zooming eh.. hehe).

@jd, like i said, all of those shots above (including the headshots) are taken @ f/2.8. isnt the background blurry enough for you? your best and cheap alternative is still the 50mm f/1. . so long as you have the space to walk forward and backward, 50mm will suffice without the need of a zoom. Note: bigger opening (i.e. f/1.4, f/1.8, f/2.8) means smaller focus area (hence causing the creamy blur on the unfocused area).
